Metroid and SIn and Punishment delayed

Metroid: Other M and Sin and Punishment 2 have both been delayed in NA. M:OM was scheduled for June 27th in America but now Aug 31 and SandP2 date was June 7th now being Jun 27th. The reasons for the delays are that Metroid needed more development time and SandP2's release was too close to Super Mario Galaxy 2's release date. SMG 2 and SandP2's release date in PAL territories are June 11th and May 7th respectively so dont know if this will affect our releases like America.

What was looking like a strong year from Nintendo is now starting to look to be a bit sparse, at this rate we will be lucky to see a new Zelda, Last Story and Xenoblade by end of the year if theyre worried about release dates been so close. 4 months down and all weve seen is Endless Ocean 2, and I havnt even decided if Sin and Punishment is going to be my sort of game, I doubt it will sell big for Ninty either. And dam now I have to wait longer for my Metroid

If it means they are tweaking it to perfection. Then I don't mind so much.
