C3 GOTD Poll 6 - 2005!

Well, obviously it has to go to Psychonauts, the under-appreciated gem from Tim Schafer. Why did like no one buy it? It was truly brilliant and humourous, what we expect from the guy. And as I recall, reviews were good.

I had it for a while played it a bunch, sold it when I needed some fast cash and then bought another copy a few weeks later when I saw it going cheap in Game as I loved it so much.

I was thinking "this is gonna be a tough one" until I got to the bottom of the list.

HOLD IT!

RE4 for me, it's the first RE title that I wanted to give a full play through. It also got rid of the horrid controls and camerae angles of the last games of the series. I'm also still playing the game on Wii with better controls than it's previous ports. Although if I want that classic feel I can always use the classic or GC controllers

CIV IV, no question. That game has everything that can ever be in a turn based game, but yet it brings something new to the table. It's some of the best fun I've ever had, and it has infinite game play. GOTD 2005 for sure.

Resi 4 just has to get this, still one of the most recognised games of the decade and to be honest i can see it winning the whole GOTD in other online polls. Mario Kart DS got a good playing though and is worthy of a mention, but to me, Resi 4 definately gets my vote here!

I played Wild World every day for a year and a half. At least 15 mins, every single day. That's quite something. I've got Splinter Cell, Phoenix Wright and Psychonauts to play before voting, but they're going to have to be monumental to rival RE4.

I think I'm gonna say Ace Attorney. As good as Mario Kart DS is, not many games are epic, and Ace Attorney just so happens to be one of the better story based games
