Of course they denied that the stuff in MP3 were easter eggs. Said it was coincidence.

Wait so he means that Dread may really exist, right ?

He obviously knows about the rumours, but even if it never was real then maybe he knows the rumour's popularity? A new 2D Metroid is still possible it seems.

I would have prefered an a Dread announcement to Other M.

Is it me or does Other M look very weird...i think its going to be a dissapointing game...but lets hope otherwise!

The series developer hasn\'t worked on a new Metroid since Fusion, and he\'s always wanted to do a Wii game, so he hopes this will have the feel of the 2D titles.

Not a co-incidence in my book. Too unlikely.
Probably a canceled GBA game or something. In developed too long, missed the boat completely, and Nintendo dosnt want to own upto it.
