Well, apparently it does have less puzzles than the DS version...with some saying it's kind of like Hotel Dusk in that way.
It seems the Euro version has voice-acting, something the Japanese edition didn't!

Well if they wanted the cover to look like a book cover instead of as game cover, they did a good job. I've never seen such a "book like" cover in my life.
That's a beautiful cover, really well done. Well, aside the blooming big 'MYSTERY NOVEL' circle on it, that ruins it a bit...

Does this come out around the time people break up for the school holidays?
frell.
LESS puzzles?
The first game was lovely, but crazy short. If this has even less puzzles it should be sold cheap :-/
Hmm a simple boxart nothing too interesting. Less puzzles? The DS version was short as it is... neitherless I'm still interested to see how this turns out.
I saw a trailer on Nintendo-Channel yesterday and was taken in by the atmosphere of the game. And yes, it was voice acted. I hope not only for the trailer...
I think this cover looks beautiful, I don't know the Japanese cover, thou.
They could take the Mystery Novel sticker and shove it... Well, Laurelin, behave...
The graphics in the game are great, really good and the best I saw on Wii so far. But it's no free 3D, so it's not difficult to brush up the graphics...
Well, like the DS version, they can remove polygons backfacing to the camera, thus freeing up more to use elsewhere while keeping a steady framerate.
That said, I dont think this is pushing the Wii hard technicaly, its just a really lovely style. (which is more important).
As for the sticker...I'm all for it.
Increasing the market for these sort of games is desperately needed. Stuff like this, Proffesor Layton etc are good examples of how non-gamers can have their perspectives widened about how games can be highly engaging and non-shallow.
Showing people theres thinking games out there, and not just action is an important step.
