ok, nintendo needs to cut the crap and make a storage solution available now!, so games like this can be released on wiiware.

Posted this in General Gaming yesterday.

I don\'t see how this opens the door for a Wii game, these games will all be HD Remixes after all. What would be the point in creating a Wii game that looks only slightly better than the fine Dreamcast game running through VGA. The Wii needs a top quality fighter in the west, but it wont be these for obvious reasons.

The best the Wii can hope for is a reduced SF4, or Street Fighter Alpha 4, and possibly Darkstalkers 4/Vampire _____. Everything depends on whether Tatsunoko (great game) gets released officially here.

I\'m tempted to play MvC2 now, it\'s such a fun game just thinking about it makes me want to play it.

Fucking love the Marvel VS Capcom games, "One for JJ!", oh and Capcom - please, please, please! Revive Rival Schools. RS2 on DC is bonerific.

This is great and all, but I agree with Linkyshinks. The point of this is 'HD', which Wii is not capable of. So how is this relevant to Wii owners? Not that they couldn't make a gorgeous fighting game on Wii. It just simply can't be HD quality. They'd have to include some considerable extras and not do any unnecessary gimping to make it worthwhile. And considering recent 3rd party Wii release history, I'd say there's a fat chance of that. I'm much more interested in a Marvel vs. DC game done by Capcom, to tell you the truth. Marvel vc. Capcom 1 & 2 were great games, but it felt just so... unnatural. "ZOMG Ryu vs. Iron Man!!1!1" Bizarre.

Street Fighter Alpha 4 would be sick, but I'd be happy with an HD remixed version of Alpha 3 with all the goodies included in the Saikyo Dojo/Max releases. I was disappointed they didn't bump up the sprite animation for SFIIHDR. It looks so gorgeous, but moved so choppy. Just like the original. *sigh* It was kinda like they only went half way. Smilie

...and I'm definitely down with reviving Rival Schools.Smilie I think it's about time they completely overhauled the original Street Fighter, too. Geki FTW!

Chance favors the prepared mind.
