Interesting interview. I did enjoy Tales of Eternia but it hasn't aged brilliantly (similar to Phantasia) plus it was a pretty shoddy port full of graphical and audio glitches. I really hope Hearts makes it over here. Maybe they'll take the time to make a proper PSP Tales game soon.

I think Tales should stick to anime personally. The CGI looks nice but it doesn't really hold a candle to FF's CGI, and that's what they were aiming for for the looks of things. Tales has a market down, they should stick with it.

Cut the crap, bring it over, and give the Wii the next Team Symphonia project like it should.

And regarding a Abyss remake... UP THEIRS, if they\'re gonna do that they absolutely have to give us next Team Symphonia effort as well, after all what the hell is this crap? are we the greatest hits 2001-2006 RIP console now? don\'t dump ports in here if proper \"new\" support won\'t come along.

We\'re all Team Symphonia fans, Team Symphonia IS on the map outside Japan because of TOS that happened to be a GC game, to whom the Wii is suceding... Team Ratatosk made of leftovers and Team Destiny going after 3D doing a Team Symphonic knock off and PORTS? CUT THE CRAP.

You guys doing the interviewing should really ask for... TEAM SYMPHONIA WII SUPPORT, not asking for the likeliness of PORTS OF THEIR GAMES happening! (or sequels made by no-name teams of trainee\'s at that!)

If Namco doesn\'t do at least that that they\'re simply not supporting the Wii like they should, by not putting their AAA-team here.

Man, why the fuck didn't you ask him to bring Tales of Innocence to at least the USA? Smilie

I need that game in English so badly! It has some of the best 3D graphics on DS!

You need to remember that there are questions that they just refuse to answer, with a request made not to state which questions were deleted. Sorry about that Smilie

I wish Innocence and Hearts would come to the West. Hope isn't lost for Hearts yet, though, but I've been told if it DID happen it wouldn't be until be until 2010 at least Smilie

I'd love to see Tales of the Abyss given a revamp on Wii. I've heard the PS2 version's really impressive, so it'd be great to see it given a new lease of life on a new format.

By the way, huge thanks must go to Kevin Chadaine of Namco Bandai Europe for arranging this interview, as well as Simon Briggs for helping with the translation.

Not to mention a Wiimake gives more chance of us Europeans being able to play the game without the mundane task of finding, getting and using Swap Magic. -.-

Exactly. I know a lot of people bemoan the wealth of port-ups nowadays, but when it's something that has not managed to reach all markets then I see the positive side of it.

Has anyone hear tried Tales of Hearts yet, by the way? I've got the Japanese version thanks to BanNam Japan and it's very impressive. Not far enough into it yet to determine whether I prefer it to Tales of Innocence, but signs are looking good indeed. It definitely needs a Western release, along with Fragile!

This looks like a good game and I like the Tales games. I wonder when it will come out in this country, or if it ever will?
