Way back during the era of the Sega Sturn and PS1, where the N-64 was on the sun rise, I had no sonole to speak of, so spent most of my cash on Arcade amchines. I had a fair few favourites, one being Captain Commando, great lil game. So what are your Favourite Aracade Games? (Past and Present.)

i want 2 play on the new FZERo AX machine, but nothing beats Donkey Kong! Smilie

If 'Doom' is classified as an arcade game, then Doom... Smilie

if you don't like it then kiss my shiney metal ass.

Arcade machine?

ummm metal slug 2 player was class

also the simpsons scrolling beat em up (four player)

prop cycle was always a good laugh,

and of course, any of the Dance games are genious

The Simpsons game that LeroyZero mentioned gets my vote, along with the Turtles one of the same era. I've never really been an arcade fan, but I can remember putting a fair few coins in those two particular machines.

Well as my name suggests it did't get much better for me than Ikari Warriors.

Although i have enjoyed these little belters over the years.

Kung Fu
Pac Man
Defender
Street Fighter 2
Bubble Bobble
House of the Dead

When you cycled by

Here began all my dreams

The saddest thing Ive ever seen

And you never knew

How much I really liked you

Because I never even told you

Oh, and I meant to

Are you still there ?

Or ... have you moved away ?

Or have you moved away ?

Street Fighter games and Virtua Fighter games are all that really come to mind.

- Virtua Fighter/Tekken Series - good, but became average with time.

- The Original Soul Blade was excellent.

- House of the Dead has some excellent plot and level design, with the recent one being very good indeed.

- Dancing games - they're ok, good way to make yourself look stupid. Although, I have seen some immense players, each time I go to this local arcade (Sega World), just too good!

- Mitsurugi - a new type of game that involves movement of a sword handle to control a sword on screen, works pretty well.
