Bought another Gamecube

Some of you may recongnise me from the TGN forums, I used to post in the GC forum until my 2 Cubes were stolen.

Well today I went out and bought myself a nice shiny new BLACK 1, with a Memory card 251 and Eternal Darkness for

I had the Pal 1 and the Import cube in the car becasue we were going away for the week to relatives, so the cubes were coming with me. Well we stopped at a service station and some little basta*d broke into the car and knicked the bag that had the cubes and the games in. Ac, mP Zelda and RE0 were nicked to name just a few. I can tell you I wan't amused.

Wow, that must have been harsh. Thankfully you've got a new GC, but the memories of top imported games will still be there. Anyhow, the freeloader's apparently on its way so you can rebuild your collection of top games once more.

Yep, I wasn't very pleased, but I spose I should have left them at home. Yes the collection now needs to be rebuilt, I just have to decide with which game to start the building.

- Legend of Zelda
- Soul Calibur 2
- Mortal *cough* Kombat
- Super Monkey Ball 2
- Resident Evil 0

Had you finished all those games? Even so you'd still want the likes of RE0, MP and Zelda in your collection.

So you bought a PAL GC then? I think I would have gone import again if I were you even eith Freeloader but I don't suppose it matters.

I had hardly even played on them seeing as it was Christmas time and the kids came first.

I very nearly bought an import cube from Goblin Direct today with AC, but decided that with the release of Freeloader, it was more econimical to buy a PAL 1.

Tomorrow I will be off to Game with some of my old not played much anymore xbox titles to see what delights I can obtain for the GC. I am hoping for Starfox and Monkey Ball again.

Yep it was reported to the Police, but becasue it was from the car, the insurance company said I wasn't covered for the theft .

Needles to say that I have now changed car insurers.

I have to say that is a bit of bad for you MikeF. Glad to see you haven't given up though. Something like that could really put me off video games for good.

It would take more than that to put me off video games, i had my xbox and GBA to keep me going until Ninty bundled a free game with the Cube

Pity it wasn't the XBox you had taken to your relatives. having that stolen would have been much easier to take.

I have to play Starfox, just to see what its like. As for the XBOX, I can't get rid of that becasue of the online fun that I am having with it.
