I have got this game and I must say it's great.
The only thing I would say about it it is too easy.
But all Navi's Trackers was was a stupid treasure hunt on the GBA, with Tetra stood on the GC pointing at a map! It would have been nice to have some other extra included, though, especially as we had such a delay over here...
And Lee, play it!! :-D
I really really want to play this......!!!!!
Shame how Tetra's Trackers got dumped from the PAL version, still tempted to maybe pick this up somewhere cheap...
I liked the music, obviously, since it was from previous games. But yeah Beam, I know what you mean, especially as Flagship's remixes of the usual tunes in Minish Cap were absolutely amazing...And yes, again, I much prefer playing with my SP as a controller - it's such a great effect going underground only to appear on the handheld! And like I say, watching the little screen and hearing the GC's music in the background is a little weird...but good!
Glad it brought some of the faith back - can't have too many disillusioned gamers out there!!
Got it last summer, the single player is great and the multiplayer keeps you coming back for more and more. It really is my favorite GameCube game and restored my faith in gaming.
You need to have at least 1 GBA though to get the most out of it, it just dosn't have the same impact if you just play the single player without the GBA IMO. The music annoyed me though that it was just taken from other Zelda games.
Looks like a great game! Retro is very cool!

No, I don't see it selling anywhere near as well as it should, especially after The Minish Cap died an early death!
Stupid British charts... :sarcy:
Great review Raz, just read the NGC verdict last night as well, you both speak very highly of it!
Alas I must decline it from my collection as I still feel I would get most with friends linking up their GBAS with it, and that will never happen for me unfortunately.
Still, its good to see a new brilliant Zelda game getting released, although I doubt it will get the sales it clearly deserves somewhow...
It was released in June last year in the US, but thought best to wait until New Year in the UK due to scheduling conflicts...but it was worth the wait. Hopefully it'll get picked up in the January sales!
Galv, it is far beyond the little extra Four Swords game included with Zelda III. Sure it doesn't have the depth of a traditional one-player only Zelda game, but hey I didn't need three friends to have a blast with it! As tempo says, give it a chance and you'll find a little classic waiting to burst free!
Thanks by the way :
Spot on score Raz, couldn't agree with it more. When I reviewed the USA version a little while ago (8.7/10) I really took into account the game forcing you to make the most out of it by using the multiplayer, but having played it a lot more over 9.0 seems to make better sense. Excellent review of a wonderful game!
Is 1-player on par with other Zelda games?
Or is it like a 1-player version of the GBA game Four Swords?
What I had this game in the beging of last year. Guess It took forever to go UK.
By jove, they did it! Not only was Pac Man Vs a masterful stroke, but now Nintendo has proven once and for all that link-up play CAN work... :
Superb game...
Do you have the PAL version that still has Navi trackers? Tetra's trackers is actually in Navi tracker's files and I wonder if the pal version has many TT files.
I actually found the graphic for the magic meter in the game. That and rupees were cut late in development and both should be able to be restored back in game.
