You can only hope. Perhaps it might inspire them to look at other remakes (not my preference) or re-evaluate RE5 (better). Only a couple of their earlier games made great remakes for the Cube, and this might be pushing their luck too far.

I am not a big fan of the genre and only have Code Veronica X (which I haven't passed about 20 minutes into), but I am definitely getting the Wii RE4. Not having played the Cube version makes that decision easier.

Lets just hope that if they do any more remakes they put the RE4 Wii Control scheme with them. A nice new one would be better, Resident Evil 6 please.

If you're making profit, lots of profit rather than just selling games to pay the debts that were generated from making it, of course you're gonna bring more games to that system.

Invest in more games like Z&W I say, no need for Wiimakes just new ground up Wii games, or better still the ressurecting of some old classic Capcom games in Wii form.{LS]

Well considering how low they set their expectations, I'm not that surprised. It would be pretty funny though if this Wii edition went on to sell as much or more as the GC one.

There has only been one full remake (Resident Evil for GC, which is still THE best looking games of the last generation)and one Wiimake so far. A remake for Wii of Resident Evil 2 and 3 or even Code Veronica would be something that I would definetly buy. I've already owned (and beaten) those games either on the N64 (RE 2) or the GC (3 and Veronica), but a complete overhaul with new graphics, new control and extra content and areas would seal the deal...

They set their expectations stupidly low - of course they exceeded them. Well deserved too. I really hope they do some RE spin-offs using the same style/engine as RE4, as well as continuing with their new titles like Zack and Wiki...

I hope it means they will bring Okami.

Companies always put their expectations lower than think is right, so that if the share price doesn't plummet when they don't sell as much.

Wouldn't mind some past Resi titles with Wii controls, would be great.

RE2 and RE3 with Wii-ified controls would be lovely, never played either of them.
