10/10

- First Wii game that you couldn't confuse graphically with last-gen
- Great artwork
- Incredible feeling of immersion
- Flawless level design; tons of freedom to explore but you always have the feeling that you're at the right place at the right time. Sounds like the game does a remarkable job of nudging you as to what to do without giving it away.
- Best platforming design in a first person shooter
- Gestures for pulling levers, etc markedly improved from earlier demos

Well it's always good to hear it getting good reviews, but i would like to see some multi-format mags/sites revews on it.

Mike Gee of iZINE said, "...The Verve, as he [Richard Ashcroft] promised, had become the greatest band in the world. Most of the critics agreed with him. Most paid due homage. The Verve were no longer the question mark or the clich. They were the statement and the definition."

Well as a gauge, they gave TP a 9.8

....Smilie

Well, did you expect anything else? I mean, it's a Nintendo publication. Smilie

That said, I'm confident this game will give Prime quite a run for it's money. 10 days. Smilie

Sounds fantastic!

No doubt the game will be great but I need non Nintendo site reviews.

Sounds good! & the controls mean that it may be the first Metroid Prime I can really enjoy. I'm still a bit worried about the game's story, but as long is the game is fun, I don't really care about the story any more. I've never really found any of the other Metroid Primes "fun", & that's what I'm really craving.

EDIT: I'd lol if it was a Bioshock beater *hopes*

EDIT2: Just checked GameRankings actually. The average is 95% from 4 reviews. IGN gave it a 9.5. Fucking excellent. I'm starting to want it now.

EDIT3: I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up as the best Wii game yet. I can't believe I'm getting excite about a game I thought I'd hate Smilie

I just watched the IGN video review, it looks absolutely immense. Urge to play Prime again before Corruption arrives, increasing.

Corrected for awesomeness. 8-bit theatre FTW!

Hey, I posted this same topic and it was fucking locked...

Anyway, I just got my issue today and I haven't read the review yet, but when I flipped to it I was like "Whoa, it got a perfect score!"

Hey, I posted this same topic and it was fucking locked...

Take a look at the date. It was posted days before yours.

Take a look at the date. It was posted days before yours.

Topics never say what the original date is.

Every single post has a date and time when it was posted on the bottom blue bar of every post (where it says options, PM me etc). Xeke's bar on the first post of this thread says the following:

19.08.2007 00:23

Your thread was posted today.

I reiterate, his thread was posted days before yours.

However if that still isn't convincing enough for you, take a look at where the url is. It says http://www.cubed3.com/topic/24801/

The number for your topic:

http://www.cubed3.com/topic/25025/

Yours is over 200 threads later than this one.

Bottom blue bar? I never even noticed it. It should be moved somewhere else. Smilie

So you're wrong...and its all the blue bar's fault. I'll get on JB to move it to a place of your preference ASAP.

I'm just saying it's a little confusing compared to where it could be placed, like, oh I don't know, where a person can see it without having to guess? For example, on the top blue bar where one would normally see. My eye was never really led to the bottom bar. It's the one place where it says when a post was originally made. It doesn't even say on the topic page; it only goes so far as to say when the last post was. So naturally, I had no way of knowing until now.

Oh for goodness sake...

Hey, all I'm saying is that in my opinion, it's inconvenient, confusing and not something that's easy to notice. I study graphic design in school, and we're taught to lead people's eyes to the important info. The original posting date is vital, but I never even noticed it. At least put it in a different color or something. Smilie

I don't particularly care about your opinion of the bar. Sure, go wave your degree in Jb's face and tell him to fix it for whatever reason (I'm pretty sure he's done just a little bit of study himself). I've never had a problem with it, and its hardly anything vital. What I find funny is that you just can't admit that you are wrong.

You study graphic design and made that sig? What exactly do they "teach" you?

What's wrong with my sig? And apparently you need to work on your critiquing skills. If all you're going to throw out is a blatant insult, then it's better to not say anything at all. Also, graphic design isn't my main thing. I'm studying it in high school and moving on to game design in college.

I was just giving my opinion. I never said you have to change it, nor am I trying to "wave my degree" in anyone's face. I'm going to branch out into video game design, so I don't really care much for pure graphic design, but I'm simply stating something that may help others in the future because I never once noticed it.

Also, I never said I wasn't wrong. I know I was wrong, and the fact that I was wrong is proof of that. However, as I said before, it may be beneficial to change it or make an adjustment. Don't do it for my sake; I was just making a suggestion.

Well it looks like a two year old did it. Copy paste 3 pokemon and then embossed it.

Jacob really, do you have to take such a tone with such a minor matter, you stated the facts end of, she is clear end of, why then do you then need to belittle her opinion based on what she has studied, and I too.

Arielle post suggestions in the suggestion box.

What's wrong with her stating she studies Graphic Design where one of the principles taught is that we as humans in the western world have grown accustomed to reading info downwards and that coloured type on a similar background colour is hard to read.

She is hardly waving a degree she has not got in your face, nor is she not making complaint or blaming anyone one else for her error. So why then are people taking the piss out of a sig, one she likes through personal taste. Her sig is her personal choice of expression.

I would not worry Arielle the guy looks like a little dweeb on the large photographic evidence available, take a look yourself Smilie. You should laugh in the face of little dweebs as you do in real life and not get worked up at all by them and their lame trick ass insults even if it does feel constant at times.

Z there is no need for that.
