He has certainly got a point, question is why?

The same lack of promotion happened with the original Prime, in ECHOES a bad release date was chosen, so much so that any previous promotion would not have matterd much. Why is Nintendo's eye off the ball here, we all thought that a certain three titles would be heavily promoted, Smash is, so why not Prime3 also?. {LS]

It could be because of the drop in sales for 2, or just because Nintendo have lost interest. However, with today's release of three trailers on US WiiWare - maybe the publicity drive is about to start.

I've been on RADIO ONE! | I'm on ONM.

Kind of nulled after news of Metroid Prime 3 videos in WiiWare (not in the UK yet, hopefully it will be when game is closer to release).

The people Nintendo are selling their games to now don't plan their purchases this far in advance. There will be adds on and after release like with every other big Nintendo game at the moment.

It's going to be shit and you jolly well know it.

It is a bit dissapointing to be honest, when you consider Smash Bros Brawl get's daily updates just to keep interest alive, to contrast that with the official Metroid site hasn't got anything on Corruption. It will probably get a shit load of ads like every big Nintendo game, like Strikers and Mario Party, but it really should be getting more than that. I just hope that it outsells the original Prime, because i personally think the reason why Nintendo have not "hyped" this game so much was because of the poor sales of Echoes.

So Wii owners buy the good games like Metroid and Strikers and ignore guff like Cooking Mama and Big Brain Academy.

Mike Gee of iZINE said, "...The Verve, as he [Richard Ashcroft] promised, had become the greatest band in the world. Most of the critics agreed with him. Most paid due homage. The Verve were no longer the question mark or the clich. They were the statement and the definition."

Sometimes I wonder what nintendo will be like in a couple years...

Well lack of Promotion aside... I already have my copy preordered. But yes, it is strange that MP3 is getting little to no promotion. I mean the release (U.S.) is right around the corner, While (as stated) SSBB is getting daily updates on it's OWN website. Maybe Nintendo is confident about this game that it needs little promotion... Or they just lost their minds.

Didn't we have the same thing with the Nintendo Wii?.. Just asking, vaguely remember something like that..

I'm thinking that they know it isn't going to be too popular with the Wii Fit crowd and will just leave it to gather popularity through the 'core gamer'. It does sound rather farfetched.
