Cool! I bum 2D fighters. I'll get this on PS2, though. N00bie Wiimote gestures will ruin this game.
.. *drools*..
.. *cums pantS*..
YATTAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! I LUV 2D Fighters, especially Capcoms'! I need this, NOW! We need more 2D fighters anyhow, they're super special awesome!

Assuming they'll actually HAVE those, every fighter so far(Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mortal Kombat) has supported and will support the 'classic' setup, so I doubt this will be any different, especially seeing Capcom themselves have also included support for both wiimote+classic control options in Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition, so they don't have any problems putting in just a little bit more effort to include classic controls. Assuming it is probably a port from the PS2 version, it'll already have the option for classic controls, they'll just have to convert it to a GC controller/Classic controller.

Yeah i hope they include a few control schemes for the Wii.
Yeah, they should include a classic control method too, just to be on the safe side.
I don't know what kind of control methods Mortal Kombat uses on Wii, but I've heard the game isn't bad either.

It uses both the Wiimote+Nunchuk setup and the classic setup. Both seem to work well, and the Wiimote+Nunchuk setup is said to actually be the easier one to use.
You'd be mad to play this with anything other then the good ol' D-pad and buttons combo.

Yeah I know?
Fantastic news as it may mean more of the library will come our way. Some new Street Fighters is what I want but Devil Kings will be a nice start. They should have support for all the controllers. Classic and Wii Remote, and posibly Nunchuk support which would be fantastic on the evidence of MK. Hope the game gets some Wii polish, Capcom are unlikely to release a lacklustre port given what they have done on on Wii so far. Great news Capcom 2d fighters are now on Wii !!!. {LS]

already more fighting games as on Cube. This one doesn't look that strange a 2D fighting game that some PS2-beaters look. Like the anime style. I'm interested!
I wish Capcom would release some 2 D fighters on the DS, they were planning a SF Alpha game but that was dropped . If they can create SFA 3 on GBA they can surely manage a fine DS game, one that I would hope uses both screen somehow. I badly want fighters on the DS. {LS]
