Two exclusive light gun games then. Dosn't look that hot graphically but sounds fun, glad to see more games use the online service.

Has anyone played it? I've never heard of it.

It's going to be shit and you jolly well know it.

woohoo another game from one of the worst most low brow genres! BRING IT ON 3rd parties!!

Why is there so much negativity to lightgun games in this site?

I've never heard of it either but IGN describe it as "the spiritual successor of both Virtua Cop and Confidential Mission"
IGN ghost sqaud preview
They seem to be quite positive about it.

Ive never heard of it, until now. LS

Looks quite pretty good from those screens.

If these games are going to be popular on Wii then they should really release a Gun holster for the remote soon.

I love light gun games. I think I'll pick it up when it's cheap.

Played this in the arcades when it came out here. It's really fun in co-op.. however the screens for this Wii version don't look as good as the arcade version..

This looks quite interesting. The visuals don't look up to much, but I can see myself having some good fun with it.

I always said the Wii has the potential to be the closest console to come close to the 'shoot e'm up' arcade experience, but there's just not enough of them, unfortunately. Hopefully this game and Umbrella Chronicles will change that though, otherwise it's just Red Steel and we all know how bad that is.

But, light-gun games should have light guns. It's holding that plastic gun in your hand that makes the whole thing cool.

I remember playing Ghost squad in an arcade, it was okay.
Not the best, Although I would like more arcade games for the Wii!

This.

A big, oddly couloured gun is required.

THOSE GUNS WHERE COOL!
I LIKED THE DESIGN

I've seen it at the arcade in my local hitting golf balls into big plastic holes place. It seemed pretty shite to be honest...

Still a proud member of the 'omfg amazing water in games' society

Seems Sega could be testing the water with this. There was an EGM rumour last year about Virtua Cop being considered for Wii, so it this does well enough perhaps we could see that, plus House of the Dead...and maybe then one of Namco's 37 Wii games might be Time Crisis!

Fingers crossed Smilie

Exactly. I'm sorry, but using the Wiimote for that game won't feel nearly as good. It's just a fact. The Wiimote is not a gun. Lightgun games need light guns for the experiance to be complete. Even though the Wiimote offers the right functionality, it's just not right for the job.

The one instance where the Wiimote would be the weapon of choice, is a Star Trek lightgun game Smilie

Ive never heard of it, but it sounds pretty cool, the graphics arent amazing but i dont mind coz this games dont need amazing graphics!! anyway im gonna keep an eye open for this one!

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

They have this at my local arcade (with black guns) and I reckon it's pretty good. I always play co-op though; it might not be as fun to play alone.

If it comes with a big plastic machine gun thing for the Wiimote, I'll definitely get it.

With any luck nintendo will see the potential and will releas the zapper add on possibly bundled with one of the games. However that said the wiimote imo feels allright as a gun what with it having the B trigger button.

Corrected. (or use a picture of Picard)

Oni - disappointed man, mixed up the two generations of Star Trek. We want your membership back, you have excommunicated. Nerds have a standard to uphold.

Temporarily banned until further notice.

Why are we getting ports and old arcade games? I'm so glad I have a 360...

Enoch Powell was right, and you know it.

I think these releases act as test games, games that test the water so to speak, before they devote a stronger team and budget to a big title.

It's stupid when they change the colour of the guns to some neon crap so that is less offensive.

House of Dead 4 has just released in Japan and it looks stunning, sega have also released another beat em which i hope will come to Wii some time down the line in reduced form, Battle Fantasia is a gloriously animated 2D fighter.

Smilie You know what, I was aware of my transgression, and actually thought you might take me up on it. You lovable nerd, you!

Far too stunning for Wii. HoTD4 runs on Sega's Lindbergh Arcade board, which is roughly 360/PS3 level, and leagues ahead of the Wii. Any Wii version would be seriously crippled from the arcade.

Love this game, no clue how many times i have played this at the arcade. Definitely a must have for me.

I don't like that you can't actually do any physical online multiplayer.
