Lots of things have been confirmed as of late. More recently, my mentioning of 20GB PS3s no longer being sold. But come this Friday, I've got intriguing news on a couple SEGA-related developments

Who cares SEGA will be making it.

So the chances of it being of a very high standard are severly limited.

Mike Gee of iZINE said, "...The Verve, as he [Richard Ashcroft] promised, had become the greatest band in the world. Most of the critics agreed with him. Most paid due homage. The Verve were no longer the question mark or the clich. They were the statement and the definition."

Flicky as in those birds that popped out of the badniks when they exploded?

Of course. It'd be interesting to see what they do with the license, if they do. It could be a "cover all bases" kinda thing.

Anywho, where are your sources mate?

It will probably be a budget arcade game for PSP or DS. Or maybe an original game for VC or XBLA.

Space Channel 5 never really died so to say, a few GBA games came out, I think the Wii could work with Samba De Amigo though.

EDIT: How many people have played the original Flicky on MegaDrive? It was really addictive & cute.

*Imagines Samba De Amiga*

Could be a laugh, but not really what we need. Now Samba Di Amigo on DS, imagine someone playing it on the bus.

I played the flicky game on the SonicMegaCollection and I thought it was awful, i thought it was some cheap home brew thing someone accidentally put in the game by mistake. It looked more like a nes game than a megadrive game.

I thought it was a Master System game?

It's a Megadrive game, ported from the arcade version I think.

I quite liked it, it was funny to play & addictive. As long as a sequel was made budget title with more modes, then I think it could be fun.

Surely the statement about 'shaking beats' implies a SDA rerelease? Or is Flicky a rhythm game as well?

Screwing the rules since 1989.

Ironically, Flicky lost the poll by miles.

Depends which part is making it.

It's going to be shit and you jolly well know it.

Flicky isn't a rythem game, so I guess if you put 1 & 1 together, it could be Samba De Amigo, doesn't sound unlikely at all for Wii or DS now that I think of it.

EDIT: I'm not surprised Flicky lost the polls, I'm sure 9/10 people have no idea what a Flicky is, let alone that he/it starred in it's own game.

If it is Flicky or Samba De Amigo, then it's more likely to be Sonic Team.

You know what? Why don't SEGA just get rid of Sonic Team, or at least sort them out, they're just a bit useless nowadays. I mean, SEGA aren't letting Sonic Team work on Mario & Sonic at the Olympic games for a very obvious reason; they'd probably ruin it. It also seems that a lot of people are very worried about the future of NiGHTS with Sonic Team making the game...

There I go, ranting about Sonic Team again.

I really like flicky, simple for Mega Drive, yes, but like SuperLink says, very addictive.

Looks shite to me, never played it.

^That appears to be running on an emulator (which doesn't count in my book) and the sound is completely messed up. Anyway, it plays better than it looks even though it's best compared to NES-era games (just by the style of game, that's not a bad thing).

That person isn't very good at it Smilie

But yeah, simple is the word, I guess it may not be good enough to be bought by itself, but let's say it was a fun little mini game to play on Sonic Mega Collection.

EDIT: Monkey Wii got a star!!
