Just visited the Wii tour in Meadowhall.
Looked good. Only two demo units but every time I went by there was a queue of at least 10 people for each unit. The DS lites either side were completely untouched, everyone who saw the Wii displays was totally intrigued.

A good sign was people playing the games (Tennis in particular) and really getting into it. Ive yet to see someone play Tennis without laughing, surely that is a good sign.

Less than a week to go. Argh...

Christmas better come fricken soon for me like...my parents offered to give me the console...with no games...as im buying the console myself and getting games for xmas...wtf...

yeah it was the same in Bluwater when i went there... but the lines weremore like 30-40 people... i had to wait for 25-30 minutes to play "Wii Play" and i only got to play for about 3 or 4 minutes... and nobody was touching the DS's... Smilie

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

I know that I've been waiting for 60+ days and they have gone by so fast. Now that I know I have under 6 days to go, it will probably drag like crazy.

My Donkey Konga situation might happen again. I dream that a week passes and expect to wake up on the day of release. I hope not...
