It in itself is something so obscure that its going to take a while to learn. For a start, the controls work in 3D space, something never comercially done before, you know the developers are going to take one look and say what the fuck is this, give them time to learn how to use these things. As for Red Steel, sure the idiots rushed it, but if the control scheme is used correctly, it could be the best FPS experience outside of Keyboard/Mouse.The developers decide how a system goes, and they are gonna need some time to learn how to code the damn thing.Same as the DS.

agreed

give it some time, heck it aint even out in 1/3 of the world yet

if it takes a year for a good game to come out, then it takes a year,so what?

Yep I agree that it should be given time, the DS started as many had said, crappy ports with "tacked-on-controls" and the 2nd screen was often used as a map or status... but once it got past that stage, you get some pretty cool games..

I think right now, being so near the holidays, nintendo is pressured to release some of the high profile games out on other systems and hence the ports with tacked-on motion controls.. but after a while, when things aren't so crazy anymore, developers will be able to utilize the machine's potential and bring games with better use of the controls and Wii's limited but still better-than-now graphics
