Yes it is even more i reckon!

With the amount of preorders, if nintendo are gonna make that many, then people will easily buy them...

They have a fair number of factories I'd imagine to be churning out this many...hopefully they'll not stimp on the quality in order to get more out there. Normally Nintendo are good on that score.
From what's being said though I think they can make that target, or close to it, if they do manage to produce them.

Yep Nintendo have shit load of factories in China producing countless Wii's, DS's and GBASP's.

Nintendo need more than 4m, i am pretty sure Nintendo will at least reach 4m.

Nintendo need at least 10m units of their consoles to keep up the demand.

GBASP, well why not, it is outselling the PSP in America, Europe, Australia and Nintendo make a healthy profit for such an old console.

With PS3 hitting a huge slump, anythings possible at the minute right?

PS3 really isn't going to shift that well, not until a price reduction. Even if people want it not a lot can afford something that expensive. 'course, I expect enough of their fan base will save up for it that they're not gonna be out of the running.

Only way im getting it is by calling it a late xmas presant and im buying my Wii myself for Christmas

it is still popualr in Europe and Australia, it's popularity has only really declined in Japan probably due the DS's massive success.

Sounds promising...

They will exceed the 4 million target. It's a console that appeals to everyone and everyone's talking about it not to mention that the simplicity of the main console's hardware makes it far easier than even the 360 to churn out.

Nintendo is unto a good thing and if they can keep the momentum up well into Q4 07 and beyond, there'll be no catching them. In otherwards,

they would have

1) Proved what we all know that analysts speak a pile of steamy crap.(As they did with the DS against the PSP)

2)Proved that the HD era in games MAY have been a bit too soon and charging people that extra bit of cash for cleaner visuals alone just isn't the deal.

3) Retained their rightful position as the King of the Console World.

Yup this will be better than watching the crowning of Aragon from Return of the King. Iwata will be respected as a true games company genius and knighted by the Queen...... with a Wiimote.

As I said before they're SERIOUSLY unto a good thing. All I want them to do now is ban Ubisoft and other companies importing Playstation 2 butt fffugly tripe unto the Wii and encourage games being designed from the ground up so that althought Nintendites are being exluded from the HD era, we're still getting a visceral package in our Wii games.

Also ensure that contol functionality on Wii games is near perfect and trust me peeps

Wii will win it all....

whoever is the king of the consoles... with have all kind of shity games on it, coz it the the console thats selling the most.. so dvelopers will put all kind a rubish on it just to make a buck! look at the PS & PS2.....

4million by 31st of Decemeber is possible providing things go good, such as deliveries turning up on time. 4million worldwide sales though is quite achieveable. Hopefully 7-8 by April
