I have faith my Wii won't be ridden with the usual launch bugs that are usually accompanied with new consoles.

Just need to make sure that I pick up and rgb lead with Zelda TP and that's my Christmas pretty much sorted.

7 days to go. (I guess I'll just have to pass the time making another Naruto music video or something).

The launch day stock won't be the only Wiis reaching the UK before Christmas. By the time they go on sale on the 8th we will already have more enroute.

I pre orderd my Wii in august this year game never contacted me to put down my deposit I have been saving on a game gift card also since aug to get my Wii what do you reckon my chances are of me getting mine?

Ehm, from GAME? They should have sent you a little note thing to say if you're getting it on launch? Unless you pre-ordered online in which case I don't know...

No I pre orderd in a store got no call got no note I have had nothing from them indecating anything about my pre order am I going to have to go talk to the game shop?

I've not read through this but do we know if it's better stocked than the DS was at launch?

Yeah, if they've not sent you anything but you pre-ordered a while ago I'd go and talk to someone, or phone them or something.

11th in Game, Zelda, Monkey Ball, Wii Play + Nunchuk, Classic Controller ALL preordered.

Fist you might have an Asda or Tesco which is open 24 hours in your area they would be unlikely suspects for a launch. If they are open 24 hours then they would be able to sell the Wii at midnight on the Thursday/Friday Morning.

Exactly what i was thinking becuase me and Ole both work ina 24hour TESCO's, so we were just thinking of going into our TESCO's at 12 0'clock and get ourselves a Wii, there could be a chance that i might get it after 10 o'clock, because that is when the moon faces ie: the night shifters are working and them boys wouldn't have a clue about it not being able to be sold until 12o'clock.

Generally you don't get deposits back...maybe if you went to see them early enough you might be able to convince them...'cause I expect they'll easily be able to sell it on to someone else.
