Lol, the mecha king!
Looking sharp graphically, loving the 2D Zelda-like trees
How on earth do you control the darn thing?!
Robot games never seen the fuss about them all
Wow, A mech game. Somehow I was thinking more along the lines of a front mission game or a mech assualt type game.
I can see the adverts in NTOM now
"If you like completely shit looking control schemes you'll love
Super Control Mecha
10 hours of 'trying to figure out how the fuck you actually play' action!!"
It's basically like Metroid Prime. You move with the D-pad and jump with the L button. You use the robot's specific controls on the touchscreen to attack.
I love it...seriously...I love it...I want...WHY DOES NINTENDO HAVE TO EMPTY MY POCKETS SO OFTEN
i'm really interested in this game. the graphics look really solid but i'd like to know some sort of background story. the controls are thing are really interesting but may take some time to get used too. maybe they'll have two control systems, a simple and complex version. i really only see this one coming out in japan though.
It looks like it has lots of potential, love the in cockpit controls, has a solidness to the gameplay that many games dont achieve. the stagbeetle robot looks awsome to pilot, will have to import if it doesn't make it here.

Spot on. And since Sandlot has such a strong reputation behind it I think there's no real worries about the quality of the final product.
