Nintendo News | More Wii Games Revealed in August [news]

Maybe it would be good for Nintendo to show some more adult-games, since GC is themed around these games(?) and they have to cover up on adult-core-market.
But showing Kid Icarus would be great!

Don't forget their WiiConnect-features and Virtual Console. They have to reveal a great chunk of this too. That's important for BigN too.

I am thrilled to sea Splinter Cell on GCN at last. I never played one of them, but Ubisoft always showed great care with this series on GCN.

Awesome stuff - hopefully we'll get some brand spanking new ones, and Nintendo will reveal their control schemes for the genres not touched upon yet.

- Miyamoto new IP (King Chef?)
- Resident Evil Wii
- Heroes (technically new - the trailer wasn't supposed to be leaked)
- Pikmin
- Animal Crossing

Or, you could replace one of the last two with Super Smash Bros. Brawl - they did stop the blog so they could work faster and concentrate on the game, afterall...

Yeah, I was enjoying it as well. I wouldn't take a two month delay for it, though! Not that it could've taken that long at a time to write...

I'm guessing it took a while to be checked and rechecked by PR people and rewritten and so on to make sure they didn't say stuff too early..

does crossbeam even hve a publisher. i know nintendo sounded interested but they did tell them that they needed to develop the story somewhat and get a demo out before they would talk more. i definintely think that either ubisoft or nintendo have picked up sadness from nibris and this will be an amazing reveal at the show. although i have just read something that say that ubisoft have 4 more wii games in development that they haven't revealed yet so maybe some more news on these.

i want to see more fireemblem, disaster, kid icarus (will it be able to differenciate itself from zelda) and zelda please!!!!

Crossbeam have no publisher, but have a few interested parties. They're developing a demo and having meetings with them.

Wasnt EA supposed to announce more titles as well?

Wii is definetly Nintendo's most exciting console. I cant wait till it comes out it will offer much more fun than the other boring consoles.

Nintendo just make the best games thus making it's consoles more exciting not to mention the revolutionary Wii remote

Search YouTube with the term 'Heroes Wii' - one should come up that Grasshopper hasn't gotten to yet. TheWiire fucked up, they had it released to them in confidence, not for public release, they promptly put it on their website, people downloaded it and put it on YouTube, Grasshopper made TheWiire remove the trailer and then TheWiire had the audacity to go and say everybody else was bad for having it on their websites after they messed up.

Game Convention starts on 23rd August and runs til the 27th or 28th I believe.

I found it on some other site, but it kinda cuts out at one point. Looks alot like a sequel to Killer7... I thought it was supposed to be really different
