Second party?
Then whats the new first party IP....I somehow dought its ExciteTruck.
(though that looks fun)
Oooooh... I dunno if this is quite a confirmation that Dread exists... I'm gonna be positive and believe it is though
Wii Sports is a new first party IP, as is Wii Music. There's a rumour of a cooking game called King Chef by Miyamoto and the Nintendogs team about as well, which I wouldn't be surprised about in the least.
although it could be a mistake in wording, is that she implies that Third Party Monolith Soft, which normally works under the watchful eye of Namco on games like Baten Kaitos and Xenosaga, is working as a Second Party company for Nintendo with the development of Disaster: Day of Crisis!
No, she may mean that Nintendo is funding the development of this IP. This would be similar to what it did to create the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles IP. Maybe this is the case with Baten Kaitos. It is on the DS and Gamecube and has a sequal in the works. In contrast, Tales of Symphonia is a player's choice game and has no sequal and is only on one Ninteod platform, The Gamecube.
Seriously, Dread has to exist... I mean, what other Metroid games are in the works besides Corruption? Hm... a sequel to Hunters wouldn't be bad...
