SSB sucks full stop. Play a real fighting game like DOA4 bitches.
Too much like a drunken fight outside the kebab shop on Saturday night, what, with all the loose breasts and aimlessly slamming into cars and other destructible environments.
{Guild}Ohmdal: But how did you get the poo inside of the box when the goat was sleeping on top of it?
{Guild}Ohmdal: oops wrong chat
Mr Ressitti
That would be scary.
I have already said this in a previous SSB thread but a level editor should be included into the game. I gurrantee you that we would large a modding community for this game, along the lines of wc3 or CS (not as big though). People will create their own maps then share via wi-fi. Something like is can only be too good.
Also patches should be a must. It's not that it's a lazily made game. Only that it is game that the most hours have been put into on any nintendo console and bugs, imbalances and glitches become apparent. Characters would becomes more balanced and maybe on rare occassions we might be rewarded with extras such as enhanced AI, extra characters, levels, items or mode.
Also like everyone I would like to see less clone characters.
Hmm, I know it has been suggested, but does anyone else except me think a create-a-fighter for this game would be utter shite?
I don't see it working to tell the truth, I also think that Create a fighter mode for Soul Calibur III was a bad idea!
Has anyone read my inhumanely long post at all?
i did superlink
DOA series is ok, i got the 2nd one on the Dreamcast (RIP) and although it is a good game it is in a whole different catogory if you ask me. Games like DOA and Mortal Kombat with Long button combos are for more advanced and gamers with more time on their hands. Street Fighter is a lil easier to pick up because the button combos tend to be similar for different characters,
The learning curve on SSB is about 30 secs. Its a Nintendo game for christs sake. Its too much fun

I think i might have to contridict my earlier statement. I think Nintendo have been screwed especially this generation by SEGA. SEGA seem to distribute their licenses equally between the 3 consoles.
GC: Super Monkey Ball
Sonic series
...........
Xbox tend to of got the Sports/Racing titles and a equal distribution on the PS2, but eventually all those GC titles left their exclusivity. Im quite anooyed that Sonic didnt stay exclusive to Nintendo consoles, but at the same time SEGA cant just leave their mascot on a dead console. Lets hope that SEGA sort out their exlusivities right this time
I agree superlink, a character creator would defeat the purpose of SSB (all ninty celebrities in one game). But a level editor would be only too good.
I wouldn't mind as a joke to have a Shigeru Myamimoto (spelling) as an unlockable player character. Would be quite funny.
hmmmmmmm a level editor would be sweeeeeeeet
Do you think they will get rid of any of the existing characters from Melee. I would say get rid of Ice Climbers because they are CRAP i mean seriously who uses them!
My brother uses Ice Climber & can do Very Hard mode on classic with them
Ice Climbers rule, serious, play a 4 player all Ice Climbers match, it's bloody hectic & sometimes even makes the superior GC SSBM slow down, but it's a really fun game!
I think Ice Climbers was one of the best & unique additions to SSBM!

I only found one use for them and that was using them to jump off the edge on VS Mode to rack VS games to unlock Mewtwo
Bowser is better at dying on purpose, use your brain & know that heavy things fall faster
& that Flat Zone is the easiest level to commit suicide on... except you wouldn't of had it...
know that heavy things fall faster
Technically (in real life ) gravity is constant, so all objects should fall at the same rate if air resistance is negligable, regardless of weight.

yea superlink

Somewhere, Sir Isaac Newton is crying onto his apple.
Doh
I'm so embarrassed, well I know I'm going to fail Science now.
Hmmm...lets see..
Put in:
Take out: Warturtle
Pichu Wario
Jigglypuff Waluigi
Iceclimbers
Dr.Mario
As far as level goes......Luigi's mansion, Mario Sunshine level, Mario Kart level(like the F-Zero level except they can throw items at you)
sorry to double post but somehting was said about viewtiful joe being in the game. Like the creator said he wouldn't mind putting him in there
It needs more girls/women for crying out loud!!
Sure, Im fine with Samus, but still...she, Zelda and Peach is the only REAL girls so far. And I hate the other two.
Zelda do have a personality-problem, changing into a guy and all. So Ill count her as half a girl.
Peach is way stronger than she should be, and they both have really anoying pink dresses.
I think Peach is horribly weak... well there aren't THAT many girl characters in Nintendo are there
OH MY FUCKING GOD!! One of the unlockables should be SAMUS WITHOUT HER POWERSUIT (alternate costume) & don't make her looks really stupid like they made her look on Metroid Prime!!!!!
I think Viewtiful Joe is really unlikely, as he has been on PlayStation consoles too. Speaking of which, is Red Hot Rumble still comnig for PSP?
There is more Nintendo female characters, its just hard to find them...
Like Alex from ED! And that cat from Animal crossing, I think her name was Purrl or somthing like that.
Bubble and Bobble would be soo fun! And B.O.B, even though I dont think many knows who he is.

Its unlikely that it would happen but Atsushi Inaba President of Clover Studio has gone on record to say that the idea of a collabaration makes him very happy.
I dont think its likely but it would be fucking awwwwwesom
See I don't care afor Viewtiful Joe very much. It just doesn't look good to me. I would probly continue to use ganondorf
Viewtiful Joe would be a bit awkward to use on the stage, his trade mark slow-mo would have to be done a different way.
Sorry if some of these were already spoken about, too lazy to read the whole thread (maths test to study for *shake fist at sky*) But I think we'll be seeing a lot of Fire Emblem and Golden Sun characters in it this time. Dare I say captain Olimar (did I spell it right?) from Pikmin as well. There will be lots and lots of characters, let's leave it at that.
Also, I dunno if you guys have touched on this as of yet but an interview with Naka-san revealed that Sonic was intended to be in Super Smash Bros. Melee, but they ran out of time and pulled him out at the last minute. After that he went on to say that he would love for Sonic and friends to be in the next in the series and there will most definitely be a chance of this happening.
So, that pretty much confirms it for us. Sorry I can't link you to the interview but....well, you can take my word for it.
EDIT: Ooo ooo ooo and a lot of the crew from Tales of Symphonia I'm guessing. (and yes Superlink I read your giant post, you make some good points, but you left out the ones in your signiture!)

Soz, not likely ToS characters will appear, as they're Namco & the game also appeard on PS2.
