Capcom Gets Jungle Fever with Donkey Kong

When Capcom registered the trademark for "Jungle Fever" a few weeks back, I'm sure I wasn't the only one who thought it could've been a new Donkey Kong game for one of Nintendo's platforms. Well, we've now learned that "Jungle Fever" is indeed a new Donkey Kong game, however, it is an arcade title.

Capcom plans to first unveil Donkey Kong Jungle Fever at the end of this month, on July 27th, in an event at its headquarters in Osaka, Japan.

On the one hand, I think it's awesome news!

On the other hand, I'll never play it because arcades are too expensive and it probably won't make it to the UK anyway

Yeah good point FENNO it probably wouldnt make it here but where i use to live before there use to be a awsome arcade centre but now i moved house so i need to find a new place to go!!
But its good news for the JAP's though!!

The Arcades in the UK.... you're lucky if the Gear Stick on the racing cabinets actually work....

I guess its good news for people in Japan, and surely good news that Capcom is making a D Karcade game. Sady, i never get to play many arcade games.

As if anyone actually goes to arcades.

Home consoles were designed to replace arcades. So release the damn games on console!

I can't be sure if there even are arcades in Aus.

I agree with that too, I've never seen an F-Zero Machine, or a Mario Kart one, the Arcades in UK are always abandoned, US & Japan really do love thier Retro ways of playing!

I went into a SEGA Arcade one time, there were a few pictures of Sonic, but not a SINGLE SEGA Sonic Arcade! (Before you ask, yes it does exist)

I don't think Mario Kart is out yet to be fair, but in all honesty I'd rather waster money on something that you could actually win something (a couple of weeks ago we little cousin won a Diddy Kong on the crain machine!).

Meh, arcades are too expensive, too far away, and you can never tell how much value your getting until you see 'Game Over' (plus they're full of people who just pretend they're playing the game)
