Dungeons and dragons. The NERDIEST possible thing on the earth, and, to be honest, I've been looking over it, and I'm finding it interesting.

Has anybody ever played? I havn't, but I'm going to ask around school and see if there's a peep in da hood of da d&d shit. yeah.

So, discuss foo.

Yep, I've played it. Some time ago though, and then only the second edition, so AD&D (Advanced). It was pretty fun too, with one guy pickpocketing dead bodies, and taking everything he could find, then getting into an argument with the rest of the group because of it.Smilie
The rules have changed a bit now, and I've never played the third edition, so I guess I won't be of much help with that. Still, you should try it a couple of times, it can be great fun!

I own the game and i only played it once. It's fun if you have a good imagination. I personally am not into it. Its sorta like a video game with out the videoSmilie

My brother is majorly into the whole shabang and seems to enjoy it, so going on that can't hurt to give it a try.

I believe it was Marilyn Manson who once observed that every second spent playing Dungeons & Dragons adds a year onto the time before you lose your virginity. Or something to that effect...

...Then again, being a tone-deaf, horse-faced goth can't do a person many favours in this area either. Smilie

Actually, I have played it before; about ten years ago when I was like fifteen...Which coincidentally was also the year [sentence deleted; suffice to say it disproves the above theory].

I agree with Dark_ghost. It sounds really fun, but there are going to be fecking pimple-faced greasy, packed-lunch-having nerds everywhere!

I've tried getting into it, but never liked it. Shows I'm not the true nerd I should be.
