Possession coming to Revolution [56k? - Get Broadband]

Apparently Blitz Games are releasing "Possession" on the Revolution.

Game Looks interesting, some sort of Zombie style Dawn of the Dead thing going on there.... Might just be on my list o' Rev games.

I love zombie games so i'll definately get this one.

It's a game where you order a grouo of zombies to kill and eat humans.

Great. It looks like a pretty fun game, I've read about it before (maybe in Edge? I can't remember). If it's on all formats, that's an indication that the Revolution will likely be able to match up to XBox 360 and PS3 to an acceptable degree, then. Good news all round.

Hmmm. Gamesradar have become (?) pretty unreliable so I'm not going to take this as fact yet.

IF true though this is just more proof of the Revo standing up to the "competition" graphically, if there are people still doubting it.

Wish we had a source for this, the site just has the logo's for PS3/360/PC on it - and with all the logo speculation even if they have it they couldn't use it...

The game still looks a bit lack-luster in the graphics department, though I do enjoy the concept. RTS's are one of my favorite Genre's and i've enjoyed some of their ventures into the third-person dimension, like Sacrifice.

Though, there have been multi-platform games for ages, according to IGN with "The Darkness" or something along those lines anyway. I've been reduced to 56KB for 2 weeks, so getting the link myself will take a long time.

Yes thats not a great title, broadband isn't available everywhere and not everyone can afford it, and its not up to you.

I would say those graphics are pretty poor (I would think this gen could do that...or very close at least), but I look at the first two pictures, and either those are two different models, or each charcter gets battle damage. Look at the poor zombie's wounds and such in the first two screens. They're different.

Agree, the graphics are not exactly grounbreaking, and could probraly be pulled of on an X-BOX. Actually Metroid Echoes looks better than that. Sounds like a decent game though.

It's probably 'battle damage'. I'd assume that most of the Next Generation games are going to have lots and lots of very shiney surfaces and Improved lighting. Theres not all else they can do I s'pose....

Yeah suppose so. I must say though, the skin texture on that big shiny guy is very good. Also, if you look at the middle pic, you can see the guys stomach twisting as he walks..very good.

Not terrific graphically but the chance of 'battle damage' interests me. Also it does seem we'll have a lot on-screen and I'm ot sure how that affects things.

If it uses whetever the Revo's trick is then they may be more concentrated o that than graphics and upgrade later.

I'd asumme this is going to be some sort of Port across the 3 platforms. These are probably the Xbox360 screens, and yes it does look very 1st generation.

I still want to see "Normal" games on the Revolution. Theres no point in e.g. forcing Gyroscopic control into a wrestling game, it just wouldn't work. As long as developers don't do this, I'd be happy.

Revolution will be my main console, I cannot be arsed to go multiplatform like I have this gen. Rev has the potential to have the most varied and unique games cataloge, and if Nintendo get it right, the largest.

This game will hopefully be the start of some pretty hefty 3rd party support.

I would probably say that those pics werent actually running on next gen hardware, bcoz they are just poor...

Does anybody know what stage in development these screen shots were taken from? or whether they're actually running on completed hardware. My guess is they're mock ups currently running on pcs or macs. Especially when I doubt that the Rev hardware is even finished yet. Lets not follow the atypical internet route and jump the gun slating unfinished work eh?. Anyway, I've seen shots of this before and I would hazzard a guess that as there will be dozens, (if not hundreds), of charecters on screen at any given time, the charecters may not be as detailed as where you only have up to 10 on the screen say.

Kameo has lots of characters on one screen whilst having great artistic and tehcnical graphics
