Just get a Gameboy player and pick up the GBA RPGs if you need a fix that badly.

Got one, and A PS2 and an Xbox - Got/Had them all (RPGs) so had to get BK - It is a below average title and wasn't worth the money but your review did prepare me for the enduring crap that it is!

I can barely push myself to turn on the GC and end up playing Kingdom Hearts on my GB player way above BK.

Is Kingdom Hearts any good? I've yet to play the PS2 original as the whole disney thing put me off, not the characters just the disney game track record.

You gotta get Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories! Without doubt one of the best GBA games out there and the production values are thought the roof!

MP3 quality music and FMV on a GBA cart? It's possible! Smilie

If you wanna know more read GameSpot or IGN's reviews.

I ain't played the PS2 game but LOVE the GBA game!

I might just give it a look, I won't bother reading IGN or Gamespot as we have differing views on what makes an RPG good.

Its alright - Nothing like the PS2 version.

It is a card based random battles set-up but the battles are like Symphonia (only solo) i.e 20 cards - 15 are keysword attacks with 5 magics etc..

Story is, odd but so far its interesting enough. There are no sidequests (that i've found) as you stay in one castle, but each floor is a different world from the PS2 classic. This may sound great but it is more a matter of different wallpapers and characters then any type of change in the gameplay.

All in all overly simple - clearly no M&L SS but better than Baten Kaitos!

Hopefully the new Fire Emblem will hold my attention till FFXII is released.

If it is anything like the last one... Smilie

Released in just under two weeks time, give it about a week for shipping (I'm a tight arse that only uses free airmail) and a review should follow a week or so later. Just so you guys are ready, 5.0 is the average grade and it WILL be compared against the previous Fire Emblem and FF:T and scored appropriately.

Thats the only way to score!

However the real question is, can Fire Emblem really last that long!!

The previous title was good and had quite a fair bit of length to it, mostly through reloads but the RPG elements were better than some more standard RPGs out there.
