Why I didn't like I and II:
I: Jar Jar bugged the crap outta me. Darth Maul's face didn't seem to be real skin, but rather detailed face-paint (and to my knowledge it was).

II: Didn't like the romance crap. I never was into romance scenes of movies. You don't go to see a Star Wars movie for the romantic qualities
it should've been in there to move the plot, but not so much focus.
The biggest that bugged was that Anakin was such a crybaby!! I hate II because of that. I can't stand a crybaby. Epi. II had the best battle scenes, plus the bit with Yoda (which was rather comical^_^), and the Geonosis battle, and the hover car chase, and all of that probably would've made it my favorite SW film. But because of Anakin, it's my most hated.

And yes, the Darth Vader suit is shown. I could give you a lot of the the story, but for those who want to wait, I'll put it in white text.
Anakin and Obi have a light saber fight. Obi knocks Anakin into a pit of lava. Anakin somehow survives. This is why Darth Vader must wear his suit. Palpatine becomes/turns out to be Darth Sith (The old dude with the cloak). I'm pretty sure he forms the Clone Army for his own purposes, and later they become the Storm Troopers.

Although i have seen the trailer and it looked AWESOME. Just the idea of someone falling into a live volcano and just having to put a suit on is dumb. I think the theatrical trailer is coming out in a couple of days aswell.

If Lucas said he wasn't going to do any more, what is stopping some other director from doing the remaining episodes. Also, the fact they've digitally remastered (I use the term loosely) the originals is bad enough but a remake with different actors would be equal to shitting on the original script and then smearing it around the page so it is unreadable.

Did you see how crap the print looked before they "ruined" it by digitally remastering it? The picture was very fuzzy with little contrast and the sound was almost impossible to hear.

Star Wars is as controversial as ever.

I like the link between the games and the books/fiilms. The films were supposed to be the be all end all - no more. Then obviously cashing in came about and has muddled the situation and I think George Lucas may have been swayed by $$$111!!! and is in two minds about his life-long project.

The books have pretty strong stuff in them, a lot of spoilers and the last time I checked, it was kind of a bleak outlook for the remaining characters (yes, remaining) but it's enough material for at least another 2 decades

The last Rogue Squadron game was kind of limited in it's story - they'd practically ran out of source material so it just seemed bitty and not very well cooked. I think it's a good idea to let the movies go and let games carry it on with the books. Seriously.

If this movie doesent rox my sox im gonna repocess the director's thumbs

There were supposed to be 9 episiodes, but geoge as metioned before is getting old so they may never get put on the big screen.

Episodes 7, 8 and 9 may be made by fans or Lucas' sons after Lucas dies. Lucas has written the plot for them, and they are pretty crap. As for falling into the lava pit, they will give it the Hollywood treatment and make it good.

I personally can't see why there is pressure on Lucas to make this so damn good, he has already made some of the greatest films in movie history, so why exactly is there pressure on him? Like he said, if anything, "he has earned the right to fail."

By the way, the amount of pictures and story line spoilers I have about this movie is immense, but just so you know, a new trailer for the movie is out tomorrow. I may just make a site for Ep 3 spoilers, but it does sound very hot...

He may've earnt the right to fail, but if he fails this one there are going to be a lot of angry fans. This episode is the key to linking the saga together and probably the most anticipated out of all the new films.

I loved Episode II. The hints to the future, such as the hologram of the Death Star and the Vader music mixing in, and the Yoda battle made the film great alone.

Earning the right to fail? What about a great game series (eg Zelda). If the new Zelda was crap, would you be happy about it? Or would you just say "well the series has earned the right to fail".

Yes, it's difficult to make every episode in a series good, but this doesn't make it okay for the possible last star wars film to be crap- then he'd be under more pressure for his next project and this failure would never be forgotton!

Well, To tell the truth im a big star wars fan, I cant wait for it to come out, Its gunna be awesome. People have been telling me all sorts of things which sorts of spoils them if the things they`re saying are true but i`ll enjoy it anyway ^_^

My point is that if he fails, so what? The whole point of the prequels has been to show how Anakin became Vader, and we will see how that happened. It is what the fans asked for, and Lucas answered it. If anything we should be grateful Lucas stuck with Star Wars. If you ever read interviews with the man you will find out how much the movies zap life out of the guy, so to be honest I think he demands respect, no infamy.

Just spent over an hour watching behind the scenes making of Episode 3 on Star Wars.com, needless to say I am sufficiently hyped up again.

III has to be good. Actually, Epi. I should've been awesome, as it was basically resurrecting Star Wars. II, not as important Epi. I, but since it was Star Wars it had to live up to it's name...and it didn't. If III is as bad as I and II, I think I'll puke.

T_c_i, the lava plotline was the original explanation for Darth Vadar in the books the movies are based on.

Also Episodes 1 and 2 were pants. They took the elements of the original three and buggered them up and brought in their own problems to boot.

Darth Maul was a pansied arsed clown. Oh look there's some guy with crap makeup jumping around yet doing bugger all, I'm so scarred. You take a look at the coolest characters and actors and you notice one thing above all else. The effort, or lack of, expended by them. Both the Emperor and Darth Vade knew they were as tough as coffin nails and didn't require to show off.

The love interest between queen amidala and anakin skywalker. She's 14 and he's 10. 10 sodding years old!. It be more plausible having Michael Jackson replacing Amidala....The love plot disturbed me more than Luke kissing Leia in the 4th and 5th episodes.

The space battle at the end. episode 4 had the trench run, episode 5 had the battle at Hoth (my personal fave) and episode 6 had the Death Star scene and what did episode 1 have? Could it even be classed as a fight scene......

Yoda's fight scene? It was attack of the teenage mutant ninja turtle munchkins on speed. It was so ridiculous it was laughable.

Anakin Skywalker, how the hell did some whiney moany bitch become Darth Vader. It just baffles me.

The over-publicised characters, Darth Maul, Jango Fett, that female bounty hunter, etc. R2-D2 had better dialogue then the lot of them. The characters were pointless or under-scripted. Why have 2 bounty hunters which have less then ten minutes screen time each in one movie? Just have one character with a more substantial plot.
