i was lookin around the web and saw this but the link didnt work:

Rumors over a 2005 release of the true successor to the Gameboy were catalyzed by a CNN report today.

so does anybody know anything about this...i tryed to look for the cnn article but i couldnt find it....if you herd about this please post a link to the page...thanks...o yeah the website i saw this on was http://ds.advancedmn.com/

well DS came out in november...so it could be at the end of the year...i know its just a rumor but the article looked intesting

God people are so stupid, not directed at you BOB, but Chris Morris on CNN Money.

The whole thing started from an analyst that knows nothing guessing that another Special Project for the GBA, like the GBASP, was going to be released.

I'll nip this in the bud now - this is in no way connected to the Game Boy Evolution!

Feel free to discuss and thoughts on the speculated and opinionated guess that Nintendo will release a new GBASP but please don't think it has anything to do with a 'new' Game Boy. It doesn't.

sorry BOB but this is old news, and its been reported its fake! and myb DS came out in US November but in Europe not yet another 11 days i think!

the news was from yesterday...and the ds came out in november in america so the next GB COULD (i relize it probly wont, but the articl still sounded intresting) come out in 2005 in america or japan...wherever its released first...even if the news is fake (it probly is) i would still like to read the article

For christ sake - There is no connection between Mr McNealy's speculation and a new Game Boy.

This has all been a stupid situation of someone reporting something incorrectly and the interenet rumour mill going on overdrive.

If I have to repeat myself again that bottle of single malt sitting beside me is in danger of getting opened and consumed.

ok i hear u but i still want to read the rumors...even if they r fake and have nothing to do w/ a "new" gameboy

Rumours are good, but not like this one.

McNealy speculated that another GBASP might be in the works - then a bunch of idiots read "New GBA" as being a new Game Boy - it is not a new Game Boy he is speculating it is another redesigned GBA.

Sorry BOB but the ignorance on this issue has really been ludicrous.

whether or not the new game boy comes out this year, i think ninty will show it at E3, and if the DS continues to lose momentum in Japan like it is, then I think releasing the next game boy this year wouldn't be so bad, after all the DS offers "completely different gameplay" to the normal game boy

but another version of the game boy advance?? I seriously doubt nintendo are going to combat the PSP with a GBA SP SP with 2d graphics and a totally cool new alarm clock built in. the next game boy is gonna be something completely new and will have gamecube-esque graphics, we all know it !

Yeah, that was one of Mr McNealy's reasons in his specualtion

I don't want it to be released till the end of 06 at the earliest. Let me treasure my DS please!
