The Pok
After the travesty of Ambrella's Pok
Now then, Genius Sonority was set-up using funding from both Nintendo and The Pok
In the build up to the official unveiling of this version, XD: Gale of Darkness, Shigeru Miyamoto announced that gamers should brace themselves for a special treat on the GameCube in terms of Pok
The whole setting of XD is indeed in an Extra Dimension, a world different to that of any other Pok
Do not get the impression that this is going to be a boring game. Unfortunately there was not a lot on show in the demonstration version so all that could be fathomed was that the Shadow Pok

What does it mean, XD? (as an emoticon)
Sounds pretty similar to Stadium. Do the battles play any faster? They were WAT too slow in Stadium!
XD is a smiley showing laughter, Bart. The X represents screwed up 'South Park' style eyes, the 'D' the mouth shown in other grinning emoticons.
Ah yes, thanks for clearing that up. I knew what the D means, but not the X. Well, I figured it must be eyes, but I thought maybe the emoticon has a special meaning besides laughter. I always thought it was some sort of relieving smiley. (as in; relieving oneself)
Well i'll get this game no matter wot...its pokemon :-D
Most will be of that attitude, howzy, which is good news for Nintendo!
Battles in Pok
No doubt i'll be getting this, my brother really is a big of pokemon, but it looks good as well.
It's been a long ride for pokemon, from the original gameboy game, which I adored, to a string of games on cube and n64 involving pokemon but which were not awesome rpgs, or even rpgs at all, to a poorly animated cartoon which I didn't mind watching with my little cousin initially.
I'll never forget the time I took him to see "Pokemon: the first movie" (can u believe the audacity of that title) thinking it would be no worse than four episodes of the cartoon stuck together. A few jokes about how brock wants the nurse and police girls, a few subliminal messages to buy pokemon merch, message to believe in yourself, team rocket blast off, roll credits. Man was I wrong!
It was apalling! A nightmare of pain that I dubbed "Pokemon:the worst movie" & which at the time caused me to cut my ties with the franchise altogether.... until now. Maybe. Actually probably still. Hell, I don't know.
I want every game to be genuinely trying to be the best game of all time. To always try and be more epic, more alive, more deep, more beautiful, more rewarding, more everything. I think if the money and time were used to make an astonishing, massive pokemon rpg like no one has ever seen, it would be better for everyone.
yessss!!!! i want!!!
I do want to get as excited about this as I am about Diamond and Pearl for the DS, but can't at the moment. Even though I have faith in Genius Sonority, it seems like they're not putting their all into the franchise. And after Game Freak's comments that D & P on the DS are to be the superlative versions, nothing compares...
