So what's the difference between "G" and the other Monster Hunter 2?

The Japanese do loves their Monster Hunting.

I assume that it's an online expansion, or something similar.

G is just an expanded version of MHP 2nd...which is why the sales are just crazy. It's becoming like Pok�mon! The home console versions don't do as well, so I wouldn't presume MH3 on Wii to be as big as this, sadly.

Jesus christ!!! Waht the hell is this game anyway? I've never even played it, lete alone know how it plays or what's so amazing about it...

Western critics never seemed to see what was in the Monster Hunter franchise either. It's one of those Japanese cliches - it's a big budget RPG, so it's gonna sell very well.

Bit like mini-game compilations in the UK...

Unfortunately. I personally love this series, and with Wii motion controls it would be amazing. But I'll probably end up having to freeload it, as I doubt it'll have good enough sales to make it to the US...

Excellent news!, says the new PSP owner. Seriously though, I don't know what the F this game is about also, but i am glad a good looking game is coming to Wii. So, is this game any good then or is it just indicative of how crap the Japanese market is right now
