It's Zombie time! Sega have revealed the first screenshots of the recently confirmed revival of the House of the Dead series on the Wii.

Features single-player campaign and two player co-op play.

Arcade mode and time attack mode are examples of 6 different game modes.

"THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD franchise has been revamped for today's gamer looking for fast-paced shooting action on the Wii. Utilising the new Wii Zapper, the player can get the renowned light gun experience in their own home."

Me. I loved the second one on Dreamcast, and have yet to play number 3.

Well, it looks like what it's meant to be, a direct port of an old arcade game.

I just hope it sells for a budget price. Really if you've got that then there's no harm in owning two good arcade games on Wii...

But I won't be getting it. :-/

actually some of the textures look like they've been pulled from the doom 3 engine. ehh, graphics don't matter to me anyways, its all about the gameplay.

if sega can make this game fun to play both solo and with a friend, and at least include many unlockables or an enjoyable online portion, this game will easily earn its retail price

Are you kidding me? When did Wii owners become whiny graphic whores? Suck it up and enjoy the gameplay; that's what matters.

I want to play all the resident evil games - is the DS one a good starting point? (it is a port of resi 1) - or i might get UC for 5 games worth of storyline.

Well it's all relative, isn't it? Graphics are still important, no matter how powerful the machin actually is. If the graphics look bad for the machine, then they're bad graphics, and that's something to whine about! (As long as the graphics would actually make a difference)

It's a port of two several-year-old games. Expecting Sega to remake every model from the ground up is silly, to say the least.

Of course, that's just an opinion.

Deadly Silence is just a port of Resi 1. Buy REmake on GC instead.

They're direct ports. So this is going to be another classic game in the Wii's catalog! Seriously, as much as Dreamcast = win, this isn't really good enough for a Wii game. Well, not if you're any sort of discerning gamer.
