Quick News - Nintendo President Satoru Iwata has gone on record to state a rushed sequel to Wii Sports, plus brain training and cooking games are not coming to Wii just yet because they would be the 'easy way'. Instead the aim is to further expand the market with new, fresh ideas.

I think that would be a wise decision, we dont wanna end up giving Wii Sports MarioPartyItis and releasing a new game on an annual basis

Good for him.

A WiiSports2 should certainly come at some stage, but it shouldnt be rushed.

Lets have it a few years down the line.

WiiSports 2, taking the same 5 games and expanding them,adding one or two more and makeing them online enabled where possible would be lovely.

But its too soon.
Do it later, and when its done bundle that game with the Wii instead.

If you read the full interview you can see they are making a wise decision. WS2 will come eventually and when it does it will be great rest assured.

Awesome interview! Hopefully this means that some sort of online will be implemented.

And wait...WHAT??!?! Underwater cables??? REALLY??? So there's actually a cable running from one country to the next?!?!? Holy shit! That really boggles my mind...
