By Jorge Ba-oh 17.09.2007 7

Sega's Official TGS 2007 website has some funky new screens of the upcoming NiGHTS Wii-exclusive sequel, as the one of the world's most loved jesters takes to skies once more.

Uodate: Some new details..

  • The game will feature a 2-player mode with score-based challenge and racing - for both online and offline play.
  • Artificial Life (A-Life) makes a return, to allow players to develop their own environments and look after their Nightopians.

Thanks to Darkspine S for the update.

In related news, NiGHTs has been allocated a release date of December 13th in Japan for those itching for a little Christmas NiGHTs (sorry).

Be sure to stick around for even more Sega goodies...

Oh really, I thought it would be delayed till 08 for all regions. I was led to believe it was due to problems in development and the optimizing of the framerate. The game looks lovely and colourful but that will essentially mean nothing if it cannot run smooth throughout.

If it's coming out on the 13th there it will be a huge shame if they miss the christmas period in the west when such a title would be very well recieved in the festive season.

I agree! It'd make a really good title to play over the season. From the recent videos it's looking equally as good as the screens, so hopefully it'll be polished nicely for launch. C'mon Sega, make us proud (...for once Smilie)

    Oh wow! Those look amazing!

Brings a new meaning to the word Colourful:cooldude:

Reminds me a bit like Mario Sunshine. Not the biggest technical accomplishment, but so easy on the eyes.

This game looks great! Can't wait for its release! The whole flying concept really grabs my attention.

Online racing should please the fans.
