A few new morsels of juicy zombie-filled info has surfaced from a recent Japanese magazine update, including the unmasking of the Umbrella leader, weapon upgrades and more.

  • New character revealed, Sergei Vladimir - leader of Umbrella.
  • Kill zombies to earn points, cash in points to upgrade weapons.
  • Game is broken up into chapters.
  • Roughly 40 minutes to clear RE 0 chapter on normal.
  • Letter ranking returns, based on total time, enemies killed, critical hits, and files collected.
  • No Resident Evil 2 chapter.

    This game is starting to sound like a cheap cashin by Capcom. And stating that this is a test game is just a way to make Wii owners purchase this game.

    No Resident 2 chapter means that this game will not close the chapter on Umbrella. Capcom should have worked with Namco or Sega, At least they know how to make light gun games.

    I was looking at this game as a buy but now I'm leaning towards a pass.

    Why not? ReThwee covers the same time frame, and this game is all about tying up the Umbrella stuff.

    I'm disappointed not to see RE2, it was my favourite RE until RE Remake and RE4 came out. It would have been nice to see RE2 looking alot nicer in the game.

    Considering IGN said the arcade mode of Medal of honour plays better than this cheap cash-in, I doubt anyone is going to buy this, aside from the hardcore RE fans, of course.

    Revolution is the solution.
