Famicom Gameboy[/b]A classic to the modern. Nintendo revealed today, a special edition Gameboy Advance, which seems to appear like a collectable and that, is what it is. The console, with it's Famicom [nes] based exterior will probably not be seen outside Japan, and if so, will most likely lose it's collectable status with a name change. The company also revealed that the piece of hardware won't be released to the general public like some of the previous Gameboy Advance SP editions, but will be released to those who are lucky to win one in, from what has been translated, a postcard based competition from Nintendo games they purchase. From our screenshot, please excuse the relatively small size and quality, it appears that the unit is basically contains a golden exterior, complete with a slightly more red interior. Compare the original famicom design below to the GBA: SP variety and the similarities are there, but also the pocket version having its own unique style. The postcards, which seem to be like the star based cards you can obtain in Nintendo based games, will be included in forthcoming GameCube and GameBoy advance that will give only 1000 lucky consumers the chance to obtain a copy.
