Nintendo News | EA Sports Bring Weapons to Madden NFL 08

By Jorge Ba-oh 28.06.2007 5

In the latest installment of the popular Madden series, EA sports intends to add a little weaponry into the mix with great player attributes being assigned to transform players into a Madden powerhouse.

Gamers can use weapon combinations to maximize an offense or create a dominating running game. Gamers can create weapon combinations and counter them with weapon mismatches that expose another team's weaknesses. Identifying a team's weaknesses and exploiting them early on is vital to winning.

The 24 weapons in Madden NFL 08 work on multiple levels. They immediately reveal a team's playmakers, so the gamer can identify a team's strengths and play to them. By learning weapon combinations and exposing mismatches, a gamer can pick apart an opponent and become a football mastermind.

This should be very interesting indeed. I wonder if Madden fans will like this idea or not?

Source? Weapons just doesn't seem to fit in those sentences...
