Quick News - Famitsu has revealed an arcade shooter is heading to Wii - Shin Chuka Taisen (Star*fish) is a remake of Taito's Chuka Taisen/Cloud Master that was originally destined for PS2, whilst the other appears to be a puzzle game called Takoron (Compile Heart), which was supposedly coming to PSP!

Also, this doesn't really look like an arcade shooter to me...

Parodius on the NES was fantastic. VC release please. On-topic: More Shooters! Treasure's Wii game might be akin to these.
