Nintendo News | Ubisoft Confirms Nintendo-Exclusive Rayman Sequel

By Jorge Ba-oh 24.05.2007 9

The crazy criminally-insane bunnies make a welcome return to Ubisoft's Rayman world after a successful run at the end of last year. After revealing a CG trailer for the game yesterday, the company have announced the sequel to Rayman: Raving Rabbids as a Nintendo Wii/DS exclusive.

In the sequel the little critters intend on inter-dimensional conquest in a shopping mall. Not content with the Rabbids's sinister plans, Rayman sets on taking down their organisation by disguising as one of the rabbits. The limbless wonder takes on 60 minigames from around the world.

Im glad its Wii exclusive as it means they can properly use the controls.

The mad rabbits were brilliant characters, I hope they can make the best use of them.

The first one may as well have been Nintendo exclusive.

It sold really well for them so it's not surprising, Red Steels success was more surprising. LS

I guess thats good, & weird too, Rayman has been mostly multiplatform right? Hopefully theyll be able to focus more on the game than making 10 different versions of it this time.

The first was fun. The rabbids were awesome.

I wish they'd make a proper platformer though.

Huzzah. More minigames. Comrades - boycott the blackguards! This is the only way that we can stop developers from hashing out minigame collections. Tell all the Wii-owning people you know not to purchase it. This way we might see some decent third-party games before we all die of minigame-induced boredom.

Screwing the rules since 1989.

Good news, hopefully this will good, im not saying that the first one was bad!

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

Screw Mario Party 8. Raving Rabbids blows all the other mini-game compilations out of the water!!
