Whether or not you like or hate the little critters, the Raving Rabbids are making a return in the sequel to the 2006 quirky hit from Ubisoft. The company revealed a short CG teaser snippet during Ubidays 2007, a summer showcase of upcoming content.

So, is this Rayman 5? Or or Raving Rabbids NOT Rayman 4? Or is Rayman gonna be the newest Street Fighter II?

EDIT: Good trailer, hopefully Ubisoft will actually make it worth the hype this time.

Looks like Raving Rabbids is being split off into its own sub-series now, rather than Rayman 4 (as the first was originally intended to be).

Nice trailer, but no interest in this one. I liked the first initially but it irritated me quite quickly. The races were horrid and it was very repetitive - though the dancing sections were great fun, as were the 'lightgun' sections (they should just make a game filled with them and nothing else).

That would be pretty cool. I got frustrated with the first almost instantly. Just too repetetive.

BEST TRAILER I've seen in a long time! Too bad its for a stupid game full of minigames, ah well.

What still angers me is when I first heard there'd be a Rayman game for Wii launch, I thought "HELL YEAH this will tide me over til Mario Galaxy!" Then I got the unpleasant surprise that it was going to be a lousy game of mini-games.

It's sad, it was originally intended as a platformer and they just quietly dropped that element of it. Smilie

The second one just better have more variety. The later mini-games in the first were just rehashes. And I hope they include a LOT more mini-games this time.
