Nintendo News | Wii Virtual Console Video Previews

Quick News: For those itching to get into their retro goodness but are unsure which classics to exchange for Wii points, Nintendo has added short 30s video previews for Virtual Console games on the official directory.

Aye, tis likely people will probably not know of this service and it can fairly easily be incorporated into the VC service using some sorta Flash video player or something given the VC channel is some custom browser.

Like you guys are saying this should really be on the channel already, but this is new territory for Nintendo so cut them some slack, i think things will only get better as time goes by!

Why should we "cut them some slack"? This is a multi-national corporation not some charity or a no-for-profit organisation.

DS has basically become a licence to print money, Wii is selling like wildfire and GBA is still selling like gangbusters in the US.

I'm not being funny, but what is this "cut them some slack" you speak of? Smilie

It's only 'new territory' for them because they failed to get involved with the biggest movement in gaming last gen. Everyone else is doing awesome online stuff. It's not my problem that Nintendo suck at it, nor should I 'cut them some slack'.

I doubt they would do anything that would take you away from the channel, but it should be a advertised on he channel.

30 seconds is fine to giving you the jist of the games, but one should go elsewhere also and read some reviews.

This should really be on the VC channel, but atleast this is better then nothing!

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562
