Nintendo News | Mario, Zelda and Pokemon Awarded in Famitsu

Just over a quarter of a year into 2007 and Famitsu have revealed their prize awards for a whole range of top titles across the board. From Zelda to Mario, Pokemon to Wii Sports, a handful of Nintendo favourites have made the list.

Best Hit Award
Pokemon Diamond and Pearl

Innovation Award
Wii Sports

Rearrange Award
New Super Mario Brothers

High Perfomance Award
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Game character of the Year
Mario

Game company of the year
Nintendo

Grand Prize: Game of the Year Award
Final Fantasy XII
Pokemon: Diamond and Pearl

Rearrange Award ? Weird.

Zelda is of course, game of the year,heck, decade, easily.

Not sure NSMB was that good however. Was great but...
..what else goes in that catagory that competes with it?

With GoW being in the same time-frame I'm not to sure about this one.

Nintendo rocks! By saying this, I'm not blaming Sony or Microsoft, I'm just saying it is more innovative than other consoles Smilie

With GoW being in the same time-frame I'm not to sure about this one.

Gears of War is a western game, which sadly means it won't appeal to Japan.
