Nintendo Wii News | Super Metroid & Duck Hunt on VC?

Quick News - In an article over on Yahoo! Games, it states US Wii owners will see the likes of Super Metroid and Duck Hunt arrive on the Virtual Console in coming months. Whilst the former is very likely, you have to wonder if the latter has been reworked to react to the Wii controller.

Duck Hunt could rock if done properly, with the Zapper attachment and stuff. I know the graphics are more outdated than the word BetaMax but meh, there'd be a big nostalgia surge in quite a few people if Nintendo decided to put this onto the VC. As for Super Metroid, well, isn't that like most of the GBA games? Because I didn't really play them. Good news for people who're into it anyway, eh.

I'm getting tired of waiting, it's the one & only VC game I absolutely must have, there is no other VC game I want more!

Duck Hunt would be cool, if it was reworked to use with the Wiimote, it could be great, & I'd definitely get it.

Isn't Hogan's Alley out on VC yet? Doesn't that use the Zapper/Wiimote?

WOW OMG! Not really news, you've just stated that it'll be "sometime" that was pretty obvious.

First we'll probably have to get plain old Metroid over here before they give us Super Metroid Smilie .

1. Same as SL, Really want Super Metroid, its probably the only game i really want to play over and over on the Wii.

2. We all know Nintendo are 99% likely to not use the wii-mote for Duck Hunt, when have they not been lazy with the VC?

Super Metroid is the highest on my Wii Virtual Console list also. I love the GBA games.

Its abvious that we will get Super Metroid Smilie lets hope sooner then later.... but Duck Hunt Smilie that would b a dream come true to have ont eh VC, but it needs some work done before they will put it on VC, updated graphics, sounds and Wii controls!! Smilie
