GameCube Piracy
Disk Images are Released over the Net…

Piracy has barely been heard of on Nintendo’s GameCube system, due to the absence of standard sized game disks. This allows Ninty to reap the benefits of good software sales making up for somewhat disappointing hardware sales. However, this system may soon be overcome. A group known as Starcube has released the ISO’s (disk images) of some GameCube titles onto the Internet, which are downloadable from certain areas. It is fortunate that these copies will not yet run on the console, however it is likely that a way will be found to enable this after they have been recorded onto a mini DVD disk.
