Glad to see Crackdown is getting the sales it deserves, although I do hope people aren't just buying it for the Halo 3 Beta.
It's also good to see that Excite truck is selling better and im impressed to see both NSMB and brain training are still high up in the charts. Can't wait to see how well Sonic does next week.
Excite Truck is probably the best game out there for the Wii now. I'm still enjoying this game.

Great news for Final Fantasy XII. Possibly the best RPG made for last gen.

I've played the demo and it's amazing.
It's a game where all you do is run around a city and blow shit up, with the ability to jump crazily high... How the hell could that not be an awesome game?
Anyone who disagrees deserves to have a lorry thrown at them.
Or a massive level 4 truck. And then to have it blow up
Isn't the Crackdown project the one with the Director of the GTA series involved? I've heard it's meant to be very impressive...but I'm VERY pleased to see FFXII beat it. Hopefully this bodes well for the launch of FFIII on DS, also self-published by S-E
And it's great to see ExciteTruck doing so well...shame Kororinpa was overlooked. It's probably a 6 or 7/10 game, but still so much fun (in a Monkey Ball-frustrating way).
The fact that you can see buildings on the OTHER SIDE OF THE MAP. From anywhere is enough reason to get the game. The story is shit, and it doesn't last that long (the story), but it's a huge technical leap, and will make it hard going back to games with crappy draw distances.
Yeah Crackdown is the first major game by the GTA director's new studio. You play as an agent with super-hero like powers (built up RPG style) so you can eventually jump huge distances and lift massive objects among more basic attributes. The demo was amazing fun, loads more fun just messing about than any GTA game, but reviews say the main single player 'quest' is pretty short and repetitive in itself.
The main appeal to me is online and split screen co-op, which is pretty technically amazing as the massive draw distance supposedly doesn't suffer at all no matter how far away the two players are apart in the city.
The graphics are nice and unique as well.
There must be a lot of people buying it mainly for the Halo 3 beta access though so on it's own it might not have been so high in the chart.
Unfortunately from what I've played of co-op, the lag is almost unbearable at times. And there is no split screen co-op I'm afraid.
Kind of makes it all the more amazing that FFXII beat it to No.1, especially given that the PS2 had been slowing down in recent weeks (Okami d

Glad to see Excite Truck getting some deserved sales, some of the most fun I've had with Wii so far. Also happy that Crackdown is doing well, that game looks SO good, can't wait til I'm able to play it.
10% of PES sales on the DS, well that just shows how strong the DS Top 20 is, if it can't crack it.
Correct if i am wrong the PSP version is selling more than the PS2 version.
It's very close between the three main formats: PSP - 31%, PS2 - 29%, Xbox 360 - 28%...and the remaining 2% must be for the PC version.
