Nintendo DS Media | Inuyasha: Secret of the Divine Jewel

By Karn Spydar Lee Bianco 21.01.2007 3

Revealed in the closing months of 2006 (and reported by Cubed3, here) Inuyasha: Secret of the Divine Jewel is a brand new RPG for the Nintendo DS system from Namco Bandai Games America.

Based on the animated TV and comic series 'Inuyasha', Secret of the Divine Jewel will allow players the chance to explore the wonder-filled origins and involving storylines of all-new as well as classic characters from the Inuyasha universe as they persevere to unlock the mystery of the 'Divine Jewel'.

Uniting familiar characters such as Inuyasha, Kagome, Miroku, Sango and Shippo, the game will pit players against leagues of monstrous demons in an epic RPG environment. With what looks to be an intuitive command-based control scheme and a new 'Cover Fellow System', players will be required to get Inuyasha and his friends to work together in new and interesting ways!

We have a massive selection of 32 screenshots available for viewing to tide your over until the launch later this month (in the US), and be sure to stick with Cubed3 for more updates of a worldwide nature just as soon as we get them.

I really like inuyasha!!

All the more reason to not buy an anime game based on it as it will spoil my image of inuyasha being awesome.

Avoid Games Like the Plague, productivity++

I do like Inuyasha as well. The Anime (uncut of course) is wonderful and a cut version is running very successfully in German children's TV (As Anime, Cartoons and CGI-movies are alsways considered only children's toys).
So a game out of this franchise would have great success.
BUT I really hope the game itself is well made. Screens are looking astoundingly great and I hope the game is well made, because I need another Golden Sun (Hey, I am crazy, so let me wish for it!)...

I find your lack of faith disturbing!

Wow, I didn't know there were still NES games in development... seriously, this looks AWFUL
