Nintendo Speculation | Touch Detective on Wii?

By Adam Riley 23.10.2006 5

Recently the good folk over at Nintendojo caught up with Atlus's Jamie Ortiz, Project Lead on the Touch Detective DS project, for a quick interview. Below is an interesting snippet from that chat:

Nintendojo: Does Touch Detective have the potential to receive a sequel?

Jamie Ortiz: Oh, definitely. Mystery abounds in the world of Touch Detective, and the gameplay lends itself to a myriad of possible story lines. I'd love to see something done with it for the Wii.

So could Atlus convince Success to make a version for the Nintendo Wii, or is it all just hot air? Whatever the case, be sure to check out the full interview: here.

Not even played the DS one yet, but it looks ace - so I'd love this to happen on Wii!

It's supposed to be pretty average, but that's according to Famitsu. They've been wrong in the past and I'm an adventure nut, so...

I also have lost faith in Famistu

Mike Gee of iZINE said, "...The Verve, as he [Richard Ashcroft] promised, had become the greatest band in the world. Most of the critics agreed with him. Most paid due homage. The Verve were no longer the question mark or the clich. They were the statement and the definition."

So have I and many others. But Touch Detective is also being slammed by US critics. But how wrong they are! Clearly reviewers nowadays aren't fans of classics point-and-click adventure games.

Touch Detective is a little gem!

It's due out Q1 2007 in Europe, from 505 GameStreet, by the way...
