Nintendo DS Media | Chocobo & the Magic Picturebook (Square Enix, RPG)

Square Enix is going RPG crazy on the Nintendo DS. Earlier on Cubed3 we ran a preview of It's a Wonderful World and now we can bring you a large batch of new screens from the adventure game Chocobo & the Magic Picturebook, as well as a link to its brilliant official website, which includes the gorgeous trailer from the Tokyo Games Show.

    Hmmm, I find it dissapointing that they have managed to go from "It's a wonderful life", to something that screams of spin-off.

    I disagree with both of you, actually Smilie It looks absolutely gorgeous, especially in the trailer on the website. The game looks like a real laugh, yet a decent enough adventure experience.

    It should also sell at least ~300,000 units in Japan, with any luck.

    spinoff from what Lightmare? The closest game I could think of was paper mario Smilie
    Watching the video was so cute,yet still looks action packed and fast paced, looks good at from this end

    The game was recently shown at TGS and I've got a preview of it coming up soon that should reveal some details.

    Sadly, only mini-games were revealed, though.
