With every console comes a selection of very useful and very strange accessories to help or hinder your gaming experience. With the Wii approaching retail in the coming months, retailers have begun to list various products that should appear alongside the console later this year.

Wii website QJ.net have found several accessories that are listed on US retailer GameStop's online catalogue, from travel cases, game wallets to stranger items like a Controller Glove (to protect the Wii mote?) and HD Premium Component Cable.

The release date for these items is listed as 1st November 2006. This could be a provisionary/assumed date, the Wii's launch or a slightly earlier/later retail date for these accessories.

The price of those SD cards are too expensive especially when you consider that Wii might be using standard SD cards and how popular these cards are with electronic devices. With the advent of the PSP memory sticks have become alot cheaper and there's noway I paid

The Wii does use normal SD cards.

If they wernt normal SD cards, they couldnt be called "SD" cards.

(it would be like saying the DS uses SD cards to store games...just because the technology is simerla dosnt mean you call it the same unless IT IS the same)

Chill people, this is a US list, read that as a SCART cable in Euro land.
The GC has had Component cable that did 480p.
