Miyamoto was also asked about previous projects that have so far never seen outside Nintendo's development studios. Mario 64-2, originally planned for the 64DD add-on, had elements in other games, the same for Stage Debut that had aspects in E3 demos.
Mario 128, one of the biggest names in gaming in recent years has ended up being Mario Galaxy, with some aspects being prime features in the title. Finally, Marionette has been moved to the Wii, and is still in development. Marionette was a Miyamoto project that was initially announced during 2001 as a GameCube edition of Mario Artist, later becoming Stage Debut. It's certainly great news to have the project back on tract for some Wii artistry with Mario and friends.
Stay tuned for updates.
